Cycling in Majorca in the spring season months of March, April and May is the time when you will find the most cyclists visiting the island. Temperatures can typically range from low teens centigrade early March up to potentially 30 degrees plus days at the end of May. While many of our riders come for a week of group cycling arriving on Saturday and departing the following Saturday, we are pleased to offer the most flexible arrangements. You can come for a 4 night minimum stay to as long as you like, arriving and departing any day. We believe in total pricing transparency there are no hidden costs or unexpected add-ons, daily guided group cycling is included with half board accommodation. Spring cycling in Mallorca is a great time for many to kick off their cycling year with some longer regular riding than over the winter months. It can give you a great head start for the summer sportive season ramping up the mileage or building a base for harder efforts to come in the months to follow.
Accommodation
We offer half board accommodation in apartment rooms, including a bedroom with separate living/dining room and small kitchenette at the 4 star plus Prinsotel La Dorada hotel in Playa de Muro which includes daily expert led group cycling. If you have non-cyclists accompanying they receive a discounted price so please contact us for the latest non cycling rates. Our overflow hotel Las Gaviotas Suites is just along the road and offers the same high level of apartment room minus the kitchenette with half board accommodation.
Airport transfers:
A direct private transfer is the most effective and fastest method of getting you to and from your destination. Our transfer drivers meet you in the airport terminal and are parked directly outside. There is a cheaper shuttle bus option that you can book independently and is used by other tour operators. However please be aware it usually makes multiple pick-up and drop-off stops and likely will take several hours to complete the transfer to and from the hotel. Taxis are also usually available at the airport at a cost of approx 85 Euros single way to Playa de Muro. Car rental is another option which with some internet research you may be able to find discounted prices in the low seasons.
